Bear and his birthday

A bear sends an invitation to his birthday celebration, saying “Birthday party at my place! Friday at 9.00 pm! Your friend Bear!”.

The party started at 9.00 pm as planned, and soon all the animals were there and having fun.

At 11.30 pm a doorbell rings. Everyone is surprised, including the bear, because everyone thought that there is nobody missing. Nevertheless, the bear goes and checks the door and there he sees a centipede.

Bear (surprised): “Hello, centipede! How come, you’re so late?”
Centipede (somewhat embarassed): “Well, I was here in time, but then I saw the ‘WIPE THE FEET’ sign on the door …”
